The SoundArk Collective

About the band

The SoundArk Collective (a.k.a The So Lah Collective) was started in 2004 when ‘So Lah’ & ‘Rc²’ first met. In their 1st year they made the ‘Leaving the Void’ series, a long-form intergalactic journey combining low-fi, DIY production, field recordings, and a wide range of musical ideas and styles into one continuing narrative. It was soon followed by Starz which follows a similar theme. They more recently rebranded as The SoundArk Collective, however they have very definitely kept their very left field style!
